About the COC

The Citizens' Oversight Committee (COC) is a seven-member group appointed by the Long Beach Unified School District’s Board of Education to review and report on school bond expenditures. COC members represents a segment of the community — senior citizens, parents, businesses or taxpayers — and serve a maximum of three, two-year terms.
